Over time, gravity pulls the gas and dust in a nebula together, forming denser regions. When these regions reach a critical mass and temperature, nuclear fusion ignites, and a star is born. In a similar vein, the Nebulae within our platform are expansive, flexible spaces where raw, unprocessed data resides. These spaces are the breeding grounds for insights and innovation, just as astronomical nebulae are for stars.

Understanding Nebulae

A Nebula is defined by a

  • Gate (for example, a financial report of a company)
  • Processes (for example, extract information according to the ontologies - PDF, US-GAAP, and Entity), and
  • Packager (for example, a defined CSV file)

The Gatekeeper determines the context of a Nebula, by either

  • creating a new context,
  • retrieving an existing context, or
  • rejecting the input A context can be anything like one financial report or all financial reports of this company or maybe just the last two?
